I still have a look from time to time but theres many people shutting their large tanks down. But i have sold quite a few marine systems around the 200 to 300L mark over the last 6 months to new starters so things are starting to pick up once again.

i'm still here but as i'm now a student and literally can't afford salt my tank looks like the proverbial as i haven't changed water in months.

I'm getting back into things, I moved out of the country a few years ago, finally in a position where I'm looking at houses to buy, once I'm in I'm setting up a proper reef. I live close the the coast now so I dipped my toes into a pico tank (12L I think it was) one block of live rock, sand collected from the beach and seawater from the beach too. kept it going for one year. never had much in it but that was the intention, a few soft corals a hermit, couple snails and a coral banded boxer shrimp. Closed it down in the end as I moved flats. Worked surprisingly well just doing about 50% water change once a month I guess that's what you get for no fish though! A really good simple set up no skimmers etc
